‘Green get away from the city blues’, tucked an hour away from Ahmedabad, and situated among swamps that are host of swathes of migratory birds, it's the dream weekend home for our new homeowners. Being environmentally conscious citizens and strong proponents of the vegan culture, it was imperative for our clients to reflect this bit of their personality into their new abode as well. And this laid out a perfect synergy to our model of sustainable architecture. Materials are sourced locally, and put together by skilled local craftsmen. Use of paints has been minimised, instead consciously making use of natural finishes in lime plaster on all walls. The warmth of wood, earthy tones of plaster and the cane details add to the bucolic setting of the place.
